Welcome to Second Grade! I am excited to begin the 2019-2020 with your child and looking forward to year full of learning, fun and adventure. 


Teaching your child is an immense responsibility and will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe, positive and motivating learning experience. However, I not able to do this without the help of you, the parents.  Together we are partners in your child's learning process.

This past summer, I was able to attend a week long Brain-Friendly Teaching Kagan Conference. I learned tools and structures to implement the six principles of brain-friendly teaching to incorporate within my own classroom. My goal for implementing brain-friendly tools is for every student to be actively involved in the learning process. Brain-friendly instruction will provide an engaging, friendly, and safe environment for my students to achieve the best and highest level of success.
