Hello World History Scholars, 

I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. 

This is my 3rd year at J.S. Rickards High School and my 4th in LCS overall. I am certified in Social Studies 6-12 and have moved over from AVID I to World History full time. I am a native of Port Arthur, Tx and I have two sisters. I have been married for 30 years and we have two adult children. My wife has also been in education for many years.

I have degrees from Texas A&M University (College Station, Tx) and Amridge University (Montgomery, Ala) in Sociology, Theology, and Ministry. 

I enjoy Singing/songwriting and watching sports. I also enjoy watching things that make me laugh and you guessed it......World History especially as it relates to World Religions and the Bible. 

I look forward to learning more about each student's history over the next few months.
