Mrs. LaBarre is in her 3rd year of teaching Band at Fort Braden. She earned her BM in Music Education and Horn Performance in1994 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She earned her MM in Horn Performance with a Cognate in Arts Administration in 1997 from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  She has been married for 27 years to her husband, Jonathan LaBarre, and they have 3 children, David, Lauren, and Renée. They also have 2 dogs, Aria and Corina. In her free time, Mrs. LaBarre performs with the Tallahassee Winds, teaches private lessons, kayaks, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
