Enroll Now for the 2025-2026 School Year
  • Enrolling in high school is a milestone moment, and shapes your future! Thank you for your interest in SAIL High School. We look forward to getting to know you.

    What is SAIL?

The School for Arts and Innovative Learning (SAIL) is a vibrant learning community serving students in 9th-12th grade. Academics, arts, creativity, and innovation are the heart of a SAIL education. Supporting students as they collaborate and construct meaning, whether in Geometry, Graphic Arts, or studying Shakespeare, SAIL engages students through project-based, service, and experiential learning.

How do I become a SAIL student?

SAIL is a school of choice. To become a SAIL student, every potential student must complete an application. Once the application is reviewed, an enrollment determination will be made. Once an invitation to enroll is extended, depending on the student’s school enrollment history, the student may have to re-enroll with Leon County Schools. Once enrolled with Leon County Schools, staff at SAIL will schedule a student services meeting to discuss academic advising, SAIL-specific activities, and course selection.

    Interested in Applying?

    1. All potential SAIL students must complete an application:

    2025-2026 Printable Application

    2025-2026 Fillable Application

    2. Submit completed application to Deana.Perry@leonschools.net.

    3. The completed application will be reviewed, and an enrollment determination will be made.

How do I enroll at SAIL?

Once accepted, requirements for enrollment vary based on whether the student is currently enrolled, previously enrolled, or has never been enrolled with a Leon County School.

    Current LCS student:

    1. Students who attended a Leon County Schools school in 2024-2025 will be scheduled for a Student Services meeting to discuss academic advising, information and activities related to SAIL, and course selection.

    Returning LCS student:

    1. Students who attended any LCS school since 2018, but not in 2024-2024, must complete the LCS Re-Enrollment Procedures
    2. Once the LCS re-enrollment process is completed, the student and family will be scheduled for a Student Services meeting to discuss academic advising, information and activities related to SAIL, and course selection.

    Student New to LCS:

Students new to Leon County Schools (i.e., have never attended a LCS school previously) must complete the following steps:

    1. Create an account in our student information system, FOCUS. The directions for creating this account can be found here: Pre-Enrollment Procedures
    2. Complete the 2025-2026 application (either printable or fillable) and submit it to Deana.Perry@leonschools.net. Be sure to include all required documents, such as the most recent report card and student questionnaire.
    3. Once the enrollment process is completed, the student and family will be invited to a Student Services meeting to discuss academic advising, information and activities related to SAIL, and course selection.
