• SAIL Application and Enrollment Steps

    The process of enrollment at SAIL requires two parts:

    1. Submission of the LCS School Choice Application (via the Focus Parent Portal) *Parents of students new to Leon County Schools must first complete online enrollment via the LCS Office of Admissions. For more information, click here.     

    2. Completion of the SAIL Application (via Focus Parent Portal - there is a link located in Parent Portal under "Forms") *For assistance, use the SAIL Enrollment Application Guide here

    Applications are not considered complete until all parts of both applications have been successfully submitted.  

    The School Choice application window is January 4th - March 1st. 

    All information on the application must be complete and correct. Incomplete applications cannot be processed. The application must be submitted electronically before the school choice window closes on March 1st as set by the District Office of School Choice.     All eligible applicants who meet the application deadline will be reviewed. If there are more eligible applicants requesting admission than the number of seats available, those applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Applications will be considered in the order in which they were received.

    Eligible students who submit applications by the School Choice deadline will be notified of their status via email sent to the parent email address listed in the application. This email is considered the official notice of admission or waitlist status. Eligible students who are not admitted will be placed on a waitlist. As seats become available, waitlist applicants will be notified for an updated review.
