MISSION STATEMENT

SAIL’s Rainbow Connection Club supports LGBTQ+ students and allies by affording a safe place to meet and to feel accepted for who they are. We strive to create an open-minded space for students to be themselves and ask questions without fear of judgment. We seek to provide education and foster a climate of respect at SAIL High School by setting an example of kindness.

The club seeks to fulfill our mission statement by:

• participating in community events
• school wide education
• guest speakers
• hosting pride panels
• showing films and TED talks
• posting informative flyers around campus
• fundraising for local organizations that support our mission such as: PFLAG, Transparent, Going Places Street Outreach, & Pride Prom
