• Welcome to the Conley’s Drama Club! We are excited to offer students the opportunity to explore creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through theater. Please read the following criteria carefully and complete the agreement below with your parent or guardian. Please also know this will be a time commitment as well. Especially as we get closer to showtime.

    The Elementary Drama Club welcomes students in grades 3–5 who are eager to learn, perform, and have fun while developing confidence and creativity. Participants are expected to maintain good behavior and attendance in school, and must have parent or guardian permission to join. Drama Club members are committed to attending all rehearsals and performances, practicing lines and songs at home, and giving their best effort throughout the season. Consistent participation is essential, as missing more than two rehearsals without approval may affect a student’s role or continued involvement.

    Students are encouraged to work as a team, show respect toward directors and peers, and maintain a positive attitude whether performing on stage or assisting behind the scenes. Members should arrive on time, take care of props and costumes, and be open to exploring emotions, improvisation, and creative expression. Drama Club is a safe space to try new things, support others, and grow as a performer and person. To participate successfully, students must balance their academic responsibilities, maintain at least a “C” average, and be prepared for the challenges of performing before an audience. Parents are invited to get involved by helping with sets, costumes, or supervision, and are responsible for transportation from rehearsals. Together, we will create an environment where every student can shine, learn, and have fun!

    Practices will be held on Mondays 3:30 - 5:00 and will start January 26, 2026. Our production this year will be “Conley’s Got Talent”. We are looking for students to get up on stage and perform their special talents whether it’s acting a scene out with your friends, signing, dance, juggling, you name it, we want to see you up on that stage! Don’t want to be on the stage, but want to help backstage. We need you too! 

    Production date will be announced soon. Please send this back to Mrs. Camper no later than November 14th.
