Mr. Carrier is in his fourth school year teaching and his first year serving as the director of bands at Deerlake Middle School. In addition to our beginning and symphonic band classes, Mr. Carrier directs our Jazz Band which meets weekly before school to rehearse. He will also be teaching Keyboard/Piano classes this year. Outside Deerlake, he is the Director of Percussion at Lawton Chiles High School with the Timberwolf Band where he rehearses and arranges percussion repertoire throughout the year. 

Mr. Carrier holds his Bachelors degree from Florida State University, from which he graduated in 2021. While at FSU, he had the opportunity to perform as a member of the FSU Marching Chiefs “Big 8” Drumline, where he met his wife! She played flute!

He has previously served as Band Director at Wakulla Middle School, Percussion Instructor at Wakulla High School, and a private lessons teacher for students around the Big Bend.
