Vegetable Garden
  • Fall Update:

    We are in the process of preparing the garden beds for fall planting. In the large bed in the first row, we will be harvesting the sweet potatoes and then planting collards, kale, mustards and carrots. We will continue to have herbs in the other two beds: basil, fennel, sorrel, lemon verbena, rosemary, oregano, sage, lemon balm, and parsley. 

    The second row beds are ready for planting; we hope to have more collards and kale there. In the 3rd row, we will clear out the larger bed and will likely use it to plant cabbage. 

    All the beds are receiving a fresh load of compost to replenish the soil with nutrients before we plant.
