    School Hours: 8:30AM - 2:50PM
    Before School Supervision 7:45-8:25AM
    After School School Supervision 2:50PM-3:20PM
    Tardy: After 8:30AM - Please come to the office and get a tardy pass for your child.

    Transportation Changes 
    Transportation Home: Changes must be submitted by a note to the teacher or call the school at 488-7322. Changes cannot be made after 2:15 PM.

    Sign-in 
    All volunteers/visitors must sign in at the front office and receive a volunteer/visitor badge.

    The Hartsfield 2016-2017 Parent Involvement Plan and Title 1 Plan are available for review in the “Our School” section under “Forms and Reports.”  These plans, as well as the 2016-2017 School Improvement Plan, are available in print at our front office.

    Come check out the amazing, specialized programs that Leon County Schools has to offer at the annual Magnet School Showcase. The showcases will be held at the Bloxham Building on Thurs., Jan 18, 5:30pm-8pm & Sat., Jan 20, 9am-noon!

    Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum visited with Art students at Hartsfield Elementary to learn about the international Art project located in Japan where a mural is constructed to advocate world peace.

  • Superintendent's Work Days

    Superintendent Rocky Hanna will be spending most Thursdays over the next few months performing some of the many jobs of our talented Leon County Schools’ employees. The superintendent will be behind the lunch counter, on a lawn mower, underneath a bus, in a classroom and more as part of his new Superintendent’s Work Days initiative.

  • HES 2018 MLK DREAMERS & DOERS

    Karlee Parker and Zavion Arnold are two of our esteemed 5th Graders that were recognized at the MLK Breakfast held at the Leon County Civic Center on January 12, 2018. They are perfect examples of many of the beliefs and ideals that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. exhibited throughout his life.

  • HES 2018 PARENT AND FAMILY ENGAGEMENT CONFERENCE

    Conference Overview: The Parent and Family Engagement Conference focuses on providing parents and families strategies, best practices, and training for building pathways to better parenting that will ultimately create stronger families in our communities and greater engagement in our schools, one family at a time.

    *Free of Charge: Workshops will be available for children ages 3 through 5th grade.    Breakfast and lunch will be provided and there will be a Farm Share distribution at the end. (Farm Share is a program that delivers various vegetables and fruits depending on what is available that particular week.  Each participant bag contains a selection of each item provided.)

    Congratulations Ms. Jackson and the HES Chorus, Winner of NBC 40's "Let's Hear Your Voice Competition". The school will receive a monetary award and other prizes as a result of our Chorus winning.

  • HARTSFIELD CHORUS WINS $1,000 CHECK

    Thank you McDonald’s for awarding the Hartsfield Chorus a $1,000 Check for a Classroom grant. The grant will be used to fund a classroom library of music books.
