Class Contest: 12/8/25 

Students should work on completing this assignment at home. It will count towards extra credit in ELA.

The winner of the class contest will go on to compete in the school competition on 12/17/25.

Students will present their individual speeches for the class and will be graded according to the following guidelines:

Meets time length requirements (2-3 minutes long)

Clear pronunciation and expression is demonstrated

Clear introduction with "hook" as discussed in class 

Theme and main idea is expressed in the "body" of the speech

Clear conclusion and "wrap-up/summary" is demonstrated

*One student from each class will move on to the School 4-H Speech held on December 17th, 2025 in the cafeteria.*
