Help us celebrate these talented students!
The LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts presents the 37th Annual Mahaska Whitley High School Show and Senior Portfolio Competition.
Students from across Leon County, public, private and homeschooled students will compete for recognition and scholarships at the
37th Annual Mahaska Whitley High School Show and Senior Portfolio Competition opening reception was Thursday, March 7th from 5-7:30 pm.
This countrywide tradition invites all students of high school age; public, private and home school to participate.
The gallery will be open for regular gallery hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM - 6 PM.
The exhibition will be on display from March 7-March 30, 2024.

Please congratulate the following students who received an art scholarships from the Tallahassee Chapter of Links, Inc. Art Academy on Monday. Doby Flowers presented Seniors, David Conley and Mia Scott each with $4000 as they pursue a degree in an art related major.
The 2020 Winter Festival Youth Art Exhibition Online showcases youthful talent and imagination through K-12 student artwork. Thirty-five elementary, middle and high school art teachers submitted 129 pieces of artwork on behalf of their students for the show.

Congratulations! Cheyenne Nick, has been selected to receive an Arts for Life! scholarship presented by former First Lady Columba Bush and the Foundation for Excellence in Education. Your student was selected from more than 650 applicants by a panel of experts in the applied art form. As you can imagine the quality of talent represented by this year’s applicants was exceptional. Your student is among 25 winners who will receive an Arts for Life! scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
Jeb and Columba Bush will host a luncheon and awards ceremony to honor this year’s scholarship recipients and their families, teachers and principals on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
