We will communicate important senior information on the following outlets – Remind App (see below), Listserv, Senior Assemblies, Senior Website, and during Government/Economic and English classes. Seniors and their parents should both be on Listserv and the Remind App so important announcements are not missed.

Bright Futures Updates for Class of 2022
Apply Online By: May 25th
The final deadline for seniors to submit the online application (Florida Financial Aid Application or FFAA) for Bright Futures is August 31, 2022. We advise you to apply by May 25th to ensure there is time to resolve any potential issues as the Guidance office will not be fully staffed in the Summer. You will only apply once and that application will be refreshed each time an evaluation is run.
Steps to Complete the Application Process: Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) for Bright Futures
- Go to http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/
- Select State Grants, Scholarships & Applications and Under First Time Applicants, click on “create an account”.
- After account is created, complete the FFAA application and submit.
The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OFSA) will post all official/award notifications to your online record. You are responsible for checking your status in August 2022 after the 8th semester evaluation. All notifications (including the FFAA award notifications) will be available using your assigned login credentials to log into your Financial Aid Recipient History. If needed, OFSA will contact you via the email address you listed when completing the FFAA. Please make sure you frequently your email and respond to any messages from OFSA.
Community Service Hours Deadline: May 20th
All service hours documentation must be complete including required signatures and be on the official community service forms. Completed community service hours forms should be submitted to Mrs. Seitel in the Guidance office by May 20that 3:00pm. Community service forms are available in the Guidance office and on the Lincoln website from the Guidance Department page.
Cap and Gown and Senior Fee Update
Please see the link below to fill out the online form for cap and gown orders. The $90 Senior Fee can be paid online, and instructions are included below. If you need to pay senior fees via check, cash or money order, students can bring the payment during lunch or after school to the guidance office. Caps and Gowns were given to students during their Gov/Econ Classes on May 10 and 11. If you still owe senior fees, those must be paid before the student can receive their cap and gown.
Grad Bash - Friday, April 29, 2022
Grad Bash is the ONLY school approved senior trip. Unacceptable behavior (including suspensions), use or possession of drugs and/or alcohol at any Senior or School Event will prevent students from participating Grad Bash and other senior events.
The Grad Bash Trip is Full.
- In order to purchase a ticket to Grad Bash or Prom ALL obligations to date must be paid in
- ALL obligations, textbooks, and Chrome Books must be paid/turned in by Friday, May 20th, or the senior’s final transcript will not be submitted and their diploma will not be issued.
Behavior / Participation

Black dress (that does not show below the gown) or black pants with white collared shirt and a dark colored tie. Black dress shoes/dress socks; if heels are worn – strap or covered heel is strongly encouraged. Guests are expected to dress in a manner that is appropriate to the dignity of the occasion, such as business attire. Please address senior sponsors with questions/concerns.
