Information from P.E. Class about Field Day and Jump Rope for Heart...
This morning when we woke up our region was in the clear from immediate impact from Tropical Storm Fred. However, as we all know, these things can change rapidly. Late this evening the National Weather Service extended the official Tropical Storm Warning to include Leon County. As a result, we are closing all schools and district offices for tomorrow Monday, August 16th.

Hello and welcome to our newest Bobcats! I know this year will still look a little different than past years, but we are going to make it an amazing one! I wanted to take a few minutes to answer the frequently asked questions for new kindergarten parents as well as give you and your child a chance to learn about our school.
So where to begin....
- Meet the Teacher:
Please click here to visit my website and learn some tidbits about me, my family and my educational background and teaching experience.
Please click the link below to schedule your family orientation appointment. During orientation you will visit our classroom to meet the teacher, drop of school supplies and tour our classroom. Feel free to bring supplies to orientation because parents will not be allowed to walk their child to our class as a COVID-19 safety precaution. I made some simple videos to show your child where our classroom is on campus. At orientation, I will give you a name tag for your child to wear on the first three days. Multiple school employees will be stationed in hallways to assist students in finding our classroom.
- Peek at the attached videos to show your child how to find our classroom.
- Mask Use Update
Please consider the following district guidelines regarding masks:
"After conferring with the Leon County Health Department and our School Board members, we have decided to make masks optional for students, teachers, staff, and visitors for the 2021-2022 school year. We are encouraging everyone to get vaccinated and to continue their efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19."
Phew! I know that was a lot of information! Please take time to read over it and if you have any other questions or concerns, please e-mail me.
I am very excited to begin a new school year and to learn more about your child!
