I hope each of you have an awesome weekend.  Please remember to sign your child’s AR reading log located in the back of the blue daily folder. 

**Students  should be taking weekly AR tests.

Remember to have your child bring his/her blue folder daily.

Theme and Peek at next Week:

• Reading: U4W4 assessments are scheduled for Friday, April 14th. U4W4 homework is due on or before Friday, April 14^th. Please have your child visit the “Connected” website for “Wonders” to review weekly skills. 

Math: Data chapter 10 assessment is scheduled for Monday, April 10th. We will begin chapter 11 on geometry and fraction concepts on Tuesday, April 11^th. Please continue practicing basic timed addition and subtraction tests with your child.

Science/Social Studies: Complete unit on Immigration.

In social studies we are completing our unit on immigration. One of the activities will involve your child’s family tree.  Please take time to complete this family tree and talk about it with your child as you are doing it.  If there are any relatives listed that immigrated to America, please list the country of origin and the date (if you know).  Please be sure to write neatly in print so your child will be able to read when he/she shares it with the class.

          This assignment is due next Friday, April 14th.  If you have questions, please e-mail me (klh13e@my.fsu.edu).      

In science, we will begin learning about Earth science.
