I hope each of you have a wonderful weekend.

Today we completed our last Wonders assessment for the 3^rd nine weeks. When we return from the break we will begin U4W2. Next week, we will be reading passages in class from a variety of sources and review strategies on ways to complete comprehension and writing assignments.

Please remember to sign your child’s AR reading log located in the back of the blue daily folder. 

Remember to have your child bring his/her blue folder daily.

Theme and Peek at next Week:

Reading:  Read a variety of passages.

Friday, March 10^th is our Read-A-Thon and the last day for students to meet their AR goal.

I encourage your child to continue to read AR books even if he/she has met their goal for the 3^rd nine weeks.  

Math: Continue learning how to measure objects using inches and feet.

Science/Social Studies:  Begin learning about economics.

Homework:

Continue to read AR books and practice addition and subtraction facts for timed assessments.
