I hope each of you have a wonderful weekend. I will be distributing the new AR weekly reading log on Monday, January 9^th.

Remember to have your child bring his/her blue folder daily.

Theme and Peek at next Week:

• AIMS Assessment on Monday, January 9^th.
• STAR Assessment on Monday, January 9^th. This will be your child’s new reading level for the 3^rd 9 weeks.
• Report cards will go home on Wednesday, January 11^th.
• Homework packet for U3W1 is due on or before Friday, January 13 Homework is located your child’s pink folder.
• Mission San Luis field trip notice is located in the “Daily Folder”. Field trip is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18^th.

Reading: Continue U3W1. Both assessments are scheduled for Thursday, January 12^th. Please have your child visit the “Connected” website for “Wonders” to review weekly skills.

Math: We will continue 3-digit addition and subtraction w/ regrouping of ones, tens, and hundreds. Please continue practicing basic addition and subtraction facts with your child w/and w/out regrouping.

Science/Social Studies: Continue learning about Native Americans
