Pandemic Response Information

In response to school closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we are jumping into distance learning. We'll update the information on this site as the situation evolves. Here is the current plan:

• March 23-27 - Extended Spring Break; extensive digital resources are available for families to use to fill the time and provide structure, but there is no expectation that students will complete academic work this week.
• March 30-April 10 - students should complete digital review packets (paper copies available as needed). The packets will be linked to this page. The packets will not contain brand-new content; they will review skills the students have already been taught.
• April 13 and following - we will enact a true virtual learning model. As this model develops, information will be posted here.
• LCS has set up 14 food distribution sites serving any children under 18 years old while schools are closed. W.T. Moore Elementary School is the closest site to us.
