  • Sunshine State Young Reader Awards (SSYRA)

    The Florida Association for Media in Education publishes a list each year of Sunshine State Young Reader Award-winning books. The list of books can be found on the Online Resources page.
     
    SSYRA-winning books are appropriate for students in grades 3-5. This year, due to the circumstances, we will not be doing any incentives, such as celebrations or trophies. However, I encourage you to come up with your own award incentive this year! For instance, if your child reads 5 books, decide on a prize together! It can be a special dinner or some other activity. How fun!
