Ms. Howard
Welcome to our class information page. I am excited to begin this new adventure with all of you. On this page, you will find information about your weekly assignments, my office hours, special area schedules, celebratory shout outs, announcements, and much more.
Hartsfield will be implementing a bi-modal distance-learning plan. In this modal, students that do not have to technology can complete the work in a paper-based format and students that do have access can complete all assignments in our online format. Students will have access to all the technology apps that we will be using in the online learning style via his/her Classlink.

Process for Returning School Work to HES
- The preferred method for turning in work is digitally
- Scanning and emailing
- Taking a picture and sending
- Completing the work online
- If you are not able to do this, beginning Friday, April 24th and every Friday thereafter until the end of the school year there will be a “Turn-In Friday”.
- The student and the teacher’s name must be written on the front page of the work.
- Plastic bins labeled by grade level will be placed on the benches at the parent pick-up drive through. Inside the bins will be a folder with the grade level teacher’s name on it.
- Between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, you can drive through the parent pick up and place the work in the teacher’s folder inside the appropriate grade level plastic bin.
- Between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM someone will be out at parent pick up and will take the work; otherwise, you will have to get out of their car and place the work in the appropriate bin.
- A manila folder will be available for you to put the work in if it is loose. (Not Stapled)

All weekly paper-based assignments can be scanned and submitted via Remind, TEAMS or email. When emailing please make sure you include your child's name in the 'add a subject' bar. Here are the instructions for scanning documents. I will also accept pictures of the assignments.
