Please DO NOT do the pdf answer sheet AND the daily answer sheets in Forms.  You are doing double the work.  CHOOSE ONE.

Week 7 (which is THE LAST assignment) is due May 22nd.  The daily Forms for the answers are partially out there for you.  They will all be ready shortly.

MAY 29th is the absolute last day for any work not turned in to be turned in.

If your current 4th nine weeks grade is LESS THAN the average of the 1st three nine weeks grades, you will get the better of the two options.

I am trying to send out answers to past due packets so that those interested can check their own work.  The delay is due to the amount of work I have not received.  I can't send out answers when so many have not turned in work.

Week 6 and vocab 11 are both due May 11th.

Week 5 was due May4th.  Week 6 went out May 4th.  It is due May 11th, so is vocab.

Please DO NOT do the pdf answer sheet AND the daily answer sheets in Forms.  You are doing double the work.  CHOOSE ONE.

Week 5 is due today (4th).  Week 6 came out today.  Itis due May 11th, so is vocab.

    04/27:  Today's meeting notes:
Attendance will be taken weekly ( entered on Tuesdays ).  Reply to my Forms Attendance question.  A new one will go out Wednesday in Teams.
Only submit work in ASSIGNMENTS in Teams--not in a post or chat.  You may email still if necessary.
Weeks 1-4 are past due as of midnight on 04/27.  Week 5 came out today (27th)  It is due 05/04.  There are two types of answer sheets---a PDF one or daily microsoft forms ones.  DONT DO BOTH. Choose the way you prefer.  Forms should be easier.
Vocab 11 also came out today.  It is due May 11th (so is week 6, but that isn't out until next Monday).

04/20:  I just attached (again) a step by step tutorial in Teams Post from a Leon County tech guy at Desoto Trail.  Please watch this.   For those of you attaching pictures of your work, it is difficult for me to see and I can't enlarge it or rotate it.  I've had to request several to resend their work.  You should be able to add multiple pages at one time that will all show in one pdf for me to scroll through.  Some of you are attaching seven separate pdfs for one assignment. Also, I can't open zip files nor links like Google.  So many ARE submitting it "the right way" that I believe it is doable for most.  You may just need to see "the right way".  This also means I could and should be getting all work through Teams Assignments (not through the post) and no longer need work to be  emailed.  Obviously I'm aware there are a few extenuating circumstances that I can work around.  I am asking those who can to try a new way.  Please use the answer sheets I supply to write your answers on and submit only that.  That should make the submitting easier as well.

Monday's meeting in a nut shell:  week 3 was due on 20th;  week 4 due 27th; please use provided answer sheets and submit only that; check my website regularlycheck your grades regularly---if you turned something in digitally and there is no grade for it (packets 1-3) message me;  NY packet answer key came out in Teams - pay special attention to the sentences part answer keys to weeks 1 and 2 will come out soon;  attendance taken weekly now - I have to have heard from you in some way...I may create a check in notice;  Week 5 will have additional vocab like the vocab we've done all year

*Please check grades on Focus every few days.  If five or six days have gone by since you turned something in and there is not grade, message me (NOT if you turned in a paper packet)
Week 4 Packet is available in Teams.  It is titled "Everyday Use".  It is due 4/27.  If you can't print the answer sheet, write the answers on notebook paper set up just like my answer sheet.
Week 3 Packet is in Teams under Assignments.  It is titled "Hello, My Name Is..."  There are a total of three documents.  You should only have to write on the third one, which is titled Answer Sheet updated. I created the answer sheet so that all answers are in one place and so that you only have that paper to submit.  If you can't print the answer sheet, write the answers on notebook paper set up just like my answer sheet.

click this for a tutorial on: Submitting work online

To clear up any confusion, all work so far: NY packet, County week 1, County week 2, will be due no later than April 16th.  This allows a few additional days for some.  This could also be a large amount of grading for me all at once, so grades won't be posted until possibly April 24th.

New work, packet 3, came out on the 13th.  It is due Monday, 20th.  That will be the pattern.  Receive on Monday, due the following Monday.

We will meet as needed on video conferences.  As of now I have a meeting scheduled for my A, B, and C periods tomorrow (13th) at 1:45 PM.  I have a meeting scheduled for my D, E, F periods tomorrow (13th) at 2:30.  For anyone who cannot view theirs live, it will be recorded and put in the Assignments tab to view at your convenience.
All assignments will come through Teams and all need to be turned in through Teams.
My website will be informational only.  I will use Remind for reminders and announcements only.

**Submitting work online:  You can find a link in Teams chat on how to submit work if you need it.

    1. Communication - check email, Remind, and Teams daily.  Post questions that others may benefit from and respond to discussion questions.  You can privately chat with me as well for instance - chat privately to ask questions that benefit only you.  If the assignment is in Assignments you can submit there.  You can also submit in an email (FROM YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL PLEASE).
    2. Due dates -both county packets  are due 4/16 to Teams or email- submit now if you're done.  April 16th IS THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT NY PACKETS
    3. Schedule - meet Mondays and Wednesdays after lunch. Monday to assign and Wednesday for group discussion. ***  Small change:  Periods A, B, C will "meet" at 1:45 and Periods D, E, F will "meet" at 2:30

    Remind codes by period:      A= @da6c33bh3k    B= @f93gk949d4

             E=  @276k2eh9fa     F= @9g8ac8ckh3

**Submitting work online:  PLEASE put the assignment name in your subject area if you email e your work.  I have created folders (so far one is NY packet and the other is County Packet 1) and as your emails arrive, I am dragging and dropping them into those folders so that I can sit down and grade the same work all at once.

*DUE DATES:   April 16 NY packets;   April 16 BOTH County packets (1 and 2)

Remind codes:     C period is @2872262k7d     and    D period is  d27ff79cbf

**Submitting work online:  PLEASE put the assignment name in your subject area if you email e your work.  I have created folders (so far one is NY packet and the other is County Packet 1) and as your emails arrive, I am dragging and dropping them into those folders so that I can sit down and grade the same work all at once.

*DUE DATES:   April 8 NY packets;   April 13 BOTH County packets

Hello everyone.  It's April Fools Day but this is no joke ; 0

I have reached out to all students through student emails, parent emails, Remind, and Microsoft Teams.  I have heard back from many in at least one of those platforms.  I need to hear from eveyone in as many of those as you can access.  If you have already replied to me, I have checked you off in the Gradebook in the areas you have replied to.  Please share with as many classmates as you can that all teachers are reaching out to all of you and to please reply or get in touch with all six teachers in some way.

I am receiving questions on how to submit answers.  So far I think taking pics of your answers and emailing them works best.  LABEL WITH ASSIGNMENT NAME, like NY packet or County Week 1  For future classwork I will try to supply a single answer sheet, much like the NY packet sheet (by the way I need those).  I have not entered any grades yet but will start tomorrow (April2) for the work that has been submitted (Ny packets and week 1 of the county packets.

I know this is all new and awkward, but we'll get through it.  I am planning on attempting to have a "live" meeting on Teams, maybe this Friday the 3rd around 10 AM.  I will send out more on that tomorrow.  For anyone who misses the live "conference", it will be recorded to view after at any time.  Remember I said ATTEMPT...LOL.

I do miss you guys, who woulda thunk it????   But I think may of you miss school and never thought that would happen.  Stay safe, stay home, and stay in touch.
