I have been involved in education for 50 years. I started my career in Nashville, TN, teaching elementary school. I taught in St. Petersburg Florida where I taught elementary and middle school. Then I left and moved to Monticello where I taught 37 years and during that time, I was a superintendent for schools in Jefferson County. I have been a teacher in Leon County now for 5 years. I teach Agriculture, Horticulture, and Drivers Ed. I now sponsor FFA at Lincoln, where we have a very good group of young men and women interested in agricultural science.
