Please also remember to get school excuses any time you take your child to any type of medical appointment. The Leon County Schools’ Title I Office is administering the Family Engagement Survey for the Fall 2019 semester. The survey allows your school and our district’s Title I Office to understand the aspects of the parent/family and school relationship. This survey is to help us understand different aspects of the parent/school relationship. We are interest in your thoughts, feelings, and attitudes towards your child's school.
Below is a link and QR code for our families to access the 2019 Fall Title I Parent and Family Engagement Survey. The survey has a dropdown link in the top right-hand corner to change languages.
The window to access and take the survey is November 4-December 4.

The program is FREE of charge and snack or supper will be provided to the students. The program will begin on August 12, 2019 and ends through May 31, 2020. The 21st CCLC Program will follow the 2019-20 School District Calendar. The After School Program will be open during Early Release Days and closed during the districts scheduled Holidays and Teacher Planning Days. Hawks Rise Elementary School students have Reading and Math Pals thanks to the United Way of the Big Bend. The program pairs mentors with students who need individual attention in math and reading. Students love the friendship and one on one support after school.
