    Attendance:

    If your child will be absent from school due to illness, please contact the front office as soon as possible. Please also remember to get school excuses any time you take your child to any type of medical appointment. Any time your student is absent from school or if you have any attendance related issues, please email your child's teacher directly or send in a note to excuse their absence.

  • Hello Parent/Guardian,

    The Leon County Schools’ Title I Office is administering the Family Engagement Survey for Spring 2021. The survey allows our school and our district’s Title I Office to understand the aspects of the parent/family and school relationship. This to provide input for continual improvement within our Title I schools to better serve our students and their families.

    The survey administration period is Thursday, April 8, 2021 through Friday, May 28, 2021.

    The Family Engagement Survey is available online and by paper in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Swahili. Parents/guardians are able to select their language preference by clicking on the appropriate link:

LCS’s mental health initiatives consist of a continuum of supports for student mental health wellness inclusive of school-based mental health service providers and community-based mental health professionals.     21ST CENTURY PROGRAM (CLICK ME)

    The program is FREE of charge and snack or supper will be provided to the students. The program will begin on August 12, 2019 and ends through May 31, 2020. The 21st CCLC Program will follow the 2019-20 School District Calendar. The After School Program will be open during Early Release Days and closed during the districts scheduled Holidays and Teacher Planning Days. Registration is limited at each site, please contact the site coordinator to register today!     In an effort to go paperless, LCS has created an online registration system for the 2020-2021 school year!

     

    A few things to keep in mind: 
    You are still required to bring in the following documents after completing the registration process:

    1.Birth Certificate
    2. Medical Forms (Physical (in last 12 months) and Immunization Records)
    3. Two Proofs of Residency
       a. Lease, mortgage statement, property tax receipt, or homestead exemption AND
       b. Utility bill, Cable Bill or Voters Registration

    4.Identification
