Hello Parents,

I hope that you all have enjoyed the extended Spring Break. I know and understand that some of you may feel frustrated during this time when things seem to be changing on a daily basis; however, the main goal is for everyone to be and stay healthy and safe.   As we began this journey of online teaching and learning, let's look at it as a new adventure.

Beginning April 13, 2020, students will be receiving and completing online assignments and submitting them electronically.  To ensure that all goes well, it is very important that your contact information is up-to-date.  Also, if you have not signed up and downloaded the Remind app, please do so.  I have sent out a new invite using the current information that I have for you.  If you do not get it, then please send me your updated contact information.  You can also use the following link to join:  https://www.remind.com/join/ef7fefe6cd.

Currently, students should have completed their Distance Learning packets last Friday, April 10.These packets were picked up from the school site band were also available online.  Since the school has been closed, you will be unable to return them to the school at this time.  Parents, please hold on to the packets until further instructions are given for submission.  You also have the option of taking pictures of the completed assignments and uploading them to my email:  williamsj5@leonschools.net or submitting them through Remind.   Parents, it is very important that the packet be completed and returned as it will be a part of your child's grades for the fourth nine weeks.
