I was a lifelong resident of Florida’s Space Coast before moving to Tallahassee in 2019 with my husband, two sons, and three Maltese. I started my career in education in 2009 as an elementary school general education teacher before serving as an ESE teacher. I then served as a coordinator for a middle school STEAM program, a middle school testing coordinator, and a high school assistant principal. From August 2019 until January 2022, I taught fifth grade at DeSoto Trail Elementary School.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in exceptional education from the University of Central Florida, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of West Florida.
