Ms. Young has been an elementary school teacher for the past 28 years in 3 schools around the world. She has previously taught pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and second grade. Ms. Young came to Buck Lake ES 19 years ago, after teaching for Department of Defense Schools for 8 years in Warner Robins, Georgia and then in Okinawa, Japan. Ms. Young was excited to transition to the Hal Pitts Media Center over 10 years ago and loves to interact with the faculty, staff, and students at Buck Lake each day in the media center. Whether it's dancing on tables, singing, doing scavenger hunts, or simply reading stories that she knows her students will enjoy, she feels very lucky to be at the best school in the world!

Mrs. DiLiello was a first grade teacher for ten years at Buck Lake ES, and our Buck Lake Media Center was lucky to have her join us as our Media Center Aide in the fall of 2016 and we are thrilled she will be joining us for her eighth year in the library.  Mrs. DiLiello brings many years of experience with children, a love of literature, and a fun sense of adventure to our library!
