Mr. Mark Williams

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  I am a long time Miami Hurricanes fan...my mother worked there for 20 years.  I went to Southwest Miami High where I played football and ran track.  After graduating high school, I went to the University of Richmond, Virginia...Go Spiders!  I played football there for two years until a knee injury ended my playing days and I returned to Miami to finish school at Florida International University.  After graduating with a BS in Communications, I went to work for the Miami Herald for two years before I switched careers and got into education.  I started teaching and coaching at Miami Beach High before returning to my old high school to teach and coach there.  I came to Tallahassee after Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida in 1992.  I am starting my 26th year at Lincoln having taught English, Yearbook and various AP courses in the department.  I have coached numerous sports here during my tenure (football, track, girls' golf and flag football, and lacrosse).  I am currently the head boys' lacrosse coach.  I am married and have four children and two grandchildren.
