Hello Families!

I knew I wanted to be a teacher early in my childhood, and always played school at home. The beginning of a new school year has always excited me! I am so excited to teach your Trailblazer this year. I have been teaching in Leon County since 2012. I love to help students find their enjoyment for reading, and show them how capable they are at developing the skills necessary to succeed as they go on to middle school. I have taught Kindergarten, First, and Fifth Grade throughout my years in education.

My husband, Don, and I have two precious daughters, Amelia and Kinsley. We love spending time at home, going on impromptu day trips, and having dinner at Newk’s on weekends. We also love cheering for the Noles, especially for football and softball. As far as pets go, we have a Jack Russell Terrier named Remi and we LOVE our chickens! 

I can’t wait to get to know your child this year and watch them grow as a learner! I truly believe that teaching requires a partnership with parents and I look forward to all this year has in store.
