The Media Center is open throughout the day for students to check out books, research, use computers and read. Students are encouraged to come to the Media Center several times a week. Parents are welcome to check out Parent Resources.

 

The opportunity for parents and young children to enjoy unforgettable books together is encouraged by the ATMSA family. We use the Accelerated Reader program to monitor and reward literacy.  Most books are labeled with the level.  Any books without a label can be searched at: https://www.arbookfind.com/

 

Students are encouraged to read at least 20 minutes each day, which is shown to increase vocabulary, heighten interest and engagement in reading.
