Say No to Bullying

  • Any person who is concerned about a bullying issue may complete the LCS Bullying Report Form and return it to the school, where the Assistant Principal or Guidance Counselor will conduct an investigation.

    Morning supervision -  7:45 a.m. to 8:25 a.m.
    Breakfast - 7:45 A.M. - 8:20 A.M.
    First Bell - 8:25 A.M.

  • Join Us at Fairview!

    Throughout the year, students at Fairview enjoy Jazz during lunch, played by their own peers! This Thursday, November 16th, you can see what it's all about! The Fairview Jazz Band, along with the RHS Jazz band, Leon Jazz Band, The Good Little Chickens & more, will perform in the courtyard from 6-8pm. Fans should bring lawn chairs, a picnic dinner & enjoy the music under the open sky.

  • LCS 4th Graders Visit Smokey Hollow (VIDEO)

    LCS 4th Graders increased their knowledge of local history with a visit Smokey Hollow. The field trip is part of the Blended Lives program going on this week.

  • Leon High Journalism Class and Humans Of New York

    Leon High School Journalism/English teacher Phillip Wenturine introduced the Humans of New York concept to his class. It has been a great tool to encourage diversity while breaking down cultural stereotypes. Once a month, students read stories, conduct interviews, and create content for their Instagram page.

Title 1 Online Parent Survey

  • This year, Leon County Schools has partnered with Panorama Education to administer the new Title I Online Parent Engagement Survey to families with students in grades K to 12. These surveys will enable us to better understand our strengths and how we can better support our students.

    The survey is available from November 15, 2017 – December 8, 2017.

  • ATMSA's PTO Double Good Popcorn Sales!  

    ATMSA's PTO will begin the Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser sale on Monday, Nov. 6th!  Information was sent home and orders will arrive in time for the winter holidays.  So, order for your family... order for your friends... order for your teachers!  What a Double Good way to support your child's school.  Money raised by the PTO goes directly back to to support our Shining Stars.

Bus Transportation

  • Leon County School Bus Transportation information (including Bus Stops and Times) can be found on the Leon County School Website Transportation and Buses page.   Bus numbers/routes and colors that are assigned by Apalachee can be found on the ATMSA Transportation Page.  If you have any other questions, you may contact our front office personnel, Mrs. Thorpe or Ms. Harris, at 488-7110. 
      
     

Transportation Changes

  • Transportation changes must be received in writing by 2:15 p.m.   Please email atmsa@leonschools.net and describe in detail the change in mode of transportation.  Transportation changes will not be taken after 2:15 p.m.

School Uniforms

  • Youth Uniform Polo Shirts are available for $12.00 each.  Adult Uniform Polo Shirts are available for $14.00. Please indicate the size and quantity desired next to each available color.  Samples of the shirts are available to see in our front office. All orders must be completed through the front office.

Important Health Information for Parents

  • Does your child has a medical condition that may require medication or assistance during the school year?   New forms are required at the beginning of each school year.  

    School forms that you may need for your child are available on the School Health page of the Florida Department of Health in Leon County’s website at: LEON COUNTY SCHOOLS

    If you are unable to access the necessary forms or are unsure of the forms you may need, please call the School Health Division at the Florida Department of Health in Leon County at 606-8150.

    Please contact your provider to request completion of the necessary forms.

2017-2018 EDEP and 21st CCLC Programs

  • Enrollment for Extended Day and 21st CCLC summer programs has begun!

    ATMSA’s Extended Day Program offers thematic experiences where kids learn through daily classes in art, science, creative writing, and drama.
    The 21st CCLC Summer Program provides additional opportunities for academic and personal enrichment for targeted students, with the primary goals of improving academic achievement, increasing the availability of and exposure to enriching activities. The primary program components include Reading, Math, Science, Wellness, Technology, Art, and Music.

2017-2018 School Supply List

  • ATMSA's 2017-2018 School Supply List can be found here.  In addition to traditional supplies, students in grades 2 through 5 are required to have an AVID Binder each day in class.  AVID Binders are available for purchase for students in grades 3-5 in the front office for $15 each.
