MEDICATION PICK UP FROM THE CLINIC
If your child has medication in the school clinic, please pick it up on or before the last day of school. Leon County Schools (LCS) medication policy states that medication must be picked up within one week of the ending date on the permission form. Please remember that students cannot transport medications, therefore, all medication must be picked up by a parent/guardian. Medication that is not picked up within that time period will be disposed of.
Please call the school if you have any questions regarding your child’s medication.

That’s right, just ONE day a week, but likely a lifetime of confidence, and self-esteem to a young person.

LOGGING VOLUNTEER HOURS
While tracking volunteer hours can be somewhat of a tedious task, every hour of volunteer time enhances the learning environment at Roberts Elementary School. We could not accomplish all the various programs and events at Roberts without the efforts of our amazing volunteers. Volunteer hours enable our school be designated as a “Golden School” by the Florida Department of Education. In addition, the volunteer hours provide statistical information that could prove beneficial when our school applies for grants, the volunteer hours serve as a source for data for school improvement goals, and they help identify which volunteers qualify for district awards.
Coding Kindergartners Meet A Robot
How do you engage young children with opportunities to learn computer coding in an exciting way? Simple! Hands on activities, like the KIBO robot, actively command children's attention! The goal of this project is to turn minds on to learning, coding, inventing and problem solving for the 21st century! This can be done with your help and support by donating funds for our small group set of the KIBO robot! Thank you for your support!
