Trent 10K, 5K & 1 Miler

Roberts Elementary School is proud to host the Annual Trent 10K in honor of Trent McElroy, a Roberts 4th grader who lost his battle to childhood cancer in 2013.

It was Trent's greatest wish to support children who are valiantly fighting the same battle that he fought.  Treatment and related expenses cost $1 billion in the US in 2009 alone.  These families are vulnerable to financial stress related to unplanned hospitalizations, out of pocket expenses and changes in parental employment.  With growing health care costs, resources to help ease the financial burden are limited.

To honor Trent's legacy, Roberst hosts this race each year.  All proceeds go to the Trents Touch Foundation in order to support local families battling pediatric cancer.  To date, we have supported 35 local families.

This year's race is Saturday January 21st, 2023.
