  • School - 8:30 am to 2:50 p.m.
    Morning supervision -  7:45 a.m. to 8:25 a.m.
    First Bell - 8:25 a.m.
    Tardy Bell - 8:30 a.m.
    Dismissal Bell - 2:50 p.m.
    Afternoon supervision - 2:50 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Transportation Changes

  • School TransportationTransportation changes must be received in writing by 2:15 p.m. 
    Please email atmsa@leonschools.net and describe in detail: child's name, teacher's name, normal method of transportation, new method of transportation, and the dates effective.  Transportation changes will not be taken after 2:15 p.m.

    Students being checked out of school early must be done before 2:15 p.m. 
    If you must check out your child(ren) before the regularly scheduled dismissal at 2:50 p.m., you will need to to arrive before 2:15 p.m.   To help ensure students' safety, we will not be able to check out students between 2:15 p.m. and dismissal at 2:50 p.m.

    Kindergarten Enrollment is Now Open

    Leon County Schools is launching kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, emphasizing a streamlined online process via a dedicated webpage. Families are encouraged to enroll early by May 16th to be eligible for a two-year scholarship drawing.

Say No to Bullying

  • Any person who is concerned about a bullying issue may complete the LCS Bullying Report Form and return it to the school, where the Assistant Principal or Guidance Counselor will conduct an investigation.
