Bio

Hi my name is Mrs. Renee Presha Pride.  I'm from Bradenton, Florida located in Manatee County.

I graduated from Palmetto High School in 1999.

I attended Florida A&M University from 1999-2003.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. I also attended National University twice graduating with a Masters in Educational Administration and Masters in Healthcare Administration.

I started my career as a teacher in Gadsden County Schools in 2006 with my first teaching assignment at Carter Parramore Academy.  I enjoyed the non traditional environment at C.P.A.

I transfered to East Gadsden High School in 2008 and worked as a Business Education teacher there until 2016.

I then moved to George Munroe Elementatry School as a Resource Teacher for the 2016-2017 school year.

I then returned back to the high school setting at Gadsden County High School for the 2017-2018 school year.

I then joined the the Cougar Family at Amos P. Godby High School during the school year of 2018-2019

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.

For me, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them. I feel there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children. In our competitive society it is important for students to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware of and sensitive to their individual needs. I am such a person and will always strive to be the best educator that I can be.
