I was raised in Manatee County, Florida (Bradenton/Palmetto) before moving to Tallahassee to attend FSU-- Go Noles! During my time at FSU, I was a member of the Marching Chiefs, Seminole Sound, and a sister of Tau Beta Sigma Sorority. I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Exceptional Student Education in 2010. I spent my first 5 years teaching in the Birmingham, Alabama area before marrying my husband and moving back to Tallahassee. My first year in Leon County was spent teaching at Desoto Trail Elementary and I have now been at Woodville K-8 for the last 5 years!

My husband and I have a 3-year old son (Rhett) and we welcomed our daughter (Adaleigh) this past October. In my free time, I like to bake, craft, and watch FSU sporting events (football, basketball, and baseball). I LOVE to travel as much as I can-- My husband and I have visited Austria, Germany, Cuba, England, and Greece and we hope to travel abroad again soon!
