Chiles High School

     Concert Orchestra is a string ensemble made up of ninth through twelfth grade students.  The orchestra meets every school day and performs around five concerts a year.  After graduating a large senior class last year, 48 students are in Concert Orchestra this year and 22 of those are Freshmen! 

     There are no audition requirements for the orchestra.  It is preferred, and students will have the most success, when they have had three years' experience in a middle school orchestra or private lessons.  Nevertheless, students of varying experience levels are able to come together to play and experience the rewards of being in a large instrumental ensemble.
