- As an ESE / Access Paraprofessional, I assist the ESE / Access teacher, Ms. Donna DeVane in planning, organizing, and completing: the daily Access curriculum requirements, each ESE student’s Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and weekly cooking and art activities. Additionally, I provide instructional support to the Peers as Partners in Learning (PPLs), implement behavior management plans, collect and monitor performance metrics, care for the ESE students’ physical and emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and promoting dignity in all relationships.
- I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family. My husband Roger, retired from the U.S. Navy after 28 years of service as a Commander/Combat Helicopter Pilot and serves as a Leon County Substitute Teacher. Our son Major (Chiles 2023), is a Cadet, D3 football player and Alpine Ski Club participant at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (Class of 2027). Our daughter Macey (Chiles 2024), will also attend a U.S. Service Academy.
