Fundraising Goal
-
Every year the SCMS PTSO looks at the needs of the school and input from faculty and staff to determine where to focus their fundraising priorities. In the 18-19 school year we are putting our efforts into replacing the outdated sound system in the cafeteria and the sound booth as well as updating the stage and installing flat panel screens in the cafeteria. The cafeteria is used for many different programs throughout the year that require a sound system that can handle stage performances from our theater department, choral performances, guest speakers, guest performers, our annual talent show, Tropicana Speech, etc. Additionally, our Wolf Pack News program is aired daily, Monday - Thursday to communicate the events and happening on our campus. By adding the flat panel screens, we will be able to better communicate with the students of Swift Creek. This year, we have already had one large fund raiser by selling "World Famous Chocolate Bars. This alloowed us to raise a good portion of the funds needed for the improvements. We are now underway with our second major fundraiser of the year and our goal is to raise $15,000.We need your help to make this happen. Color-a-thon packets went home with each student in late January. Go to the website below to register online and learn more about how you can help Swift Creek reach our fundraising goal.

It only takes an hour! Volunteering doesn’t require an enormous amount of time. Whether you can only volunteer once during the school year or once a month, your time is greatly appreciated. Some events may require a specific time commitment at school, while other events may be held on or off campus after school hours allowing for more to volunteer. In many cases, helping with a committee and an event only takes an hour or two of your time.
A listing of volunteer activities include:
- Open House
- Book Fair
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Dances
- Sports Activities (bringing refreshments/help with fundraisers)
