The Swift Creek Bridge to AP Program is the only one of its kind in Leon County

Participation in the Bridge to AP Program is limited only to those students who meet the eligibility criteria. This acceleration will place your child in very challenging courses preparing them to meet the rigor of high school Advanced Placement courses. There will be multiple opportunities to earn high school credit, but more importantly, this program will provide the foundation needed to ensure a confident and successful student.

What are the benefits of an AP curriculum?

    • A rigorous middle school curriculum will equip a student with the tools to transition into a high school AP program and realize success immediately in those courses.
    • 85% of AP students continue their education beyond High School.

    • 76% of students who take 2 or more AP courses attain a Bachelor’s degree (regardless of whether they earn qualifying scores on the AP courses and exams).

    • 61% of students who take 2 or more AP courses and exams complete a Bachelor’s degree in four years or less. Welcome to a new school year at Swift Creek! We look forward to another fabulous year.  Go Wolves!  Shadowing dates (mid-February) for upcoming 6th graders  by invitation.  Students from feeder schools who have qualifying  test scores will be sent an invitation by mail.  Parents will be invited to attend Bridge Parent night at Swift Creek.
