    School Session Hours:

    • School is in session from 8:30am to 2:50pm each weekday.
    • Morning supervision is available from 7:45am to 8:30am
    • Afternoon supervision is available from 2:50pm to 3:15pm
    • Front Office hours 7:30am to 4:00pm

  • New Student Registration Applications

    Registration packets for students new to Gilchrist in grades K-5 are available in the front office.
    Parents/Guardians are also required to provide the following information:
    • Proof of child's birth date
    • Proof of current State of Florida immunization records
    • Physical examination (within the last year)
    • Two proofs of residency:
    1. Homestead exemption, mortgage deed, lease, rental agreement, or property tax record  -AND-
    2. Utility bill

  • Stay In School - Learning A Lesson (VIDEO)

    His teachers loved him but worried about him. They did everything they could to get him back on track. Ishone Sutton was a student at Amos P. Godby High School who learned a hard lesson in his life. He wanted to share his story with other students to help prevent them from ending up in a similar situation.

  • First Responder's Day 2018!

    First Responders Day coincided with Superintendent Hanna’s first day "on the job" as a School Resource Officer. He spent the morning at Sabal Palm, Fairview, Rickards and Kate Sullivan Elementary, where he talked with First grade students.
