About the PERT

- Purpose: The PERT helps determine if students are academically prepared for college-level courses and eligible for Dual Enrollment at TSC. Lively students do not need to take the PERT.
- Test Dates:
- Fall: October 14, 2025
Registration Deadline: September 30, 2025 - Spring: February 4, 2026
Registration Deadline: January 21, 2026 - Sign-Up Process:
- Students must sign up through the Focus form that will be emailed in September and again in January.
- Eligibility:
- Students must attend the Dual Enrollment informational meeting.
- Mrs. Amy Diskin (amy.diskin@leonschools.net) is the Dual Enrollment Coordinator and determines who is eligible to take the test.
- Dual enrollment students to TSC must have a 3.0 GPA.
- Lively dual enrollment students are not required to take the PERT and need a 2.5 GPA.

Students may also take the test at Tallahassee State College; Information is available on the TSC testing website. PERT is provided at Godby only for Godby students at no cost to the student.
