The faculty, staff, and families of W. T. Moore are committed to providing a safe, caring environment in which our students will become positive, contributing citizens with a continuous desire to learn. Our expectation is that all students who have completed fifth grade will have acquired, and can readily apply, the skills necessary for success in middle school.

    W. T. Moore Elementary School, with a pre-k through grade five population of 700 students, is located in northeast Tallahassee. Built in 1968 using the open-concept design, the facility consists of seven 'centers', each housing four classrooms. Unique to our school is the hearing impaired program through which deaf students from five adjacent counties receive special services while being actively involved in all aspects of the traditional school day.

The faculty, staff, and administration of W. T. Moore value the importance of technology in today's world and are committed to providing our students with the necessary tools and skills to assist them on their path of learning.
