The Florida Department of Education is working with school districts to gather information on how well parents think their child's school is partnering with parents of students with disabilities, and would like to include your input. Your responses will help guide efforts to improve services and results for children and families. This survey is for parents of students with individual educational plans (IEP) receiving special education services during the 2020-21 school year. All information provided will remain confidential.
The survey window opens on February 1, 2021 and closes on May 31, 2021.

Digital Academy Lunch at Springwood!
Digital Academy students will be able to pick up lunches from the school from 10:30-11:30 each day. Parents please enter from the back of the school at the bus ramp and you can pick up lunches from the cafeteria doors. Please stay in your car. The lunches will be brought to you. This will only be available to students registered in Springwood's Digital Academy. This will begin on Monday, August 31st.

Springwood Elementary says NO to Bullying and will be focusing on anti-bullying and bullying prevention activities during the month of October. During Red Ribbon Week, special anti-bullying messages will be included on the morning show and on one of the days, all students, staff and faculty will wear blue to show that we Stomp Out Bullying at our school. Anti-bullying posters will be created and displayed around the school and students will be asked to sign an Anti-Bullying Pledge that will also be displayed at the school.
Please join us in saying NO to Bullying at our school and help us make Springwood a Bully Free Zone!!
Barbers from Lively Technical College moved their entire barbershop to Sabal Palm Elementary and gave students free haircuts.
During the month of February, Montford Middle School students created a Black History Museum in the Media Center. Each display in the museum included a special QR code that launched interactive presentations on tablets and phones.
