Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to Springwood Elementary School. We celebrated 30 years of serving our community last year. We pride ourselves on having a family like bond with students and families. We are also a school with a tradition of excellence where children are the most important people. Parents, extended families, staff and community join in this partnership and let’s work together to ensure that all of our students are successful. We have an exciting year planned and I am ecstatic about the possibilities that are in store for your child. Please let us know how we can best serve you. Please join us for our school wide activities, look for the Friday Folders that will have our newsletter and other important information in it. We would love to have more parent volunteers to grow our SAC and PTO committees. If you just want to volunteer for specific events, please complete the Volunteer application for the 2018-2019 school year. This year we are "Paving the road to success.” Please join us!!!
Springwood Elementary says NO to Bullying and will be focusing on anti-bullying and bullying prevention activities during the month of October. During Red Ribbon Week, special anti-bullying messages will be included on the morning show and on one of the days, all students, staff and faculty will wear blue to show that we Stomp Out Bullying at our school. Anti-bullying posters will be created and displayed around the school and students will be asked to sign an Anti-Bullying Pledge that will also be displayed at the school.
Please join us in saying NO to Bullying at our school and help us make Springwood a Bully Free Zone!!
