    In today's interconnected world, where virtually every aspect of our lives relies on digital technology, cybersecurity has never been more critical. From protecting sensitive personal information to safeguarding the infrastructure of organizations and nations, the need for cybersecurity expertise has become increasingly urgent. Throughout these courses, we'll cover a wide range of topics, including threat intelligence, risk management, cryptography, network security, ethical hacking, and much more. Whether you are looking to continue your learning journey at the post secondary level, bolster your resume with highly coveted industry certifications, or simply satisfy your curiosity about cybersecurity, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey!

     

    Progression

    Year 1 - Digital Information Technology

    This innovative course provides you with the foundational skills needed for future careers in a variety of technological fields. You’ll explore emerging technologies, digital design, Microsoft Office online applications, and much more! 

    Year 2 - Computer Network and Security Fundamentals (Honors)

    This course covers the fundamentals of computer safety, network security, and the prevention of digital attacks. You’ll experience a hands-on approach to security strategies, expand your computer and networking security techniques, and improve your problem-solving skills. 

    Year 3 - Cybersecurity Essentials (Honors)

    This inspiring course covers defensive strategies for computer, mobile device, and network security. You’ll experience a hands-on approach to security strategies, expand your computer and networking security techniques, and improve your problem-solving skills. 

    Year 4 - Operational Cybersecurity (Honors)

    Students will put all their knowledge together and put it into effect. Students will see how cybersecurity works in the real world, how vulnerabilities can be exposed, and how to protect from intrusions.
