What grades can participate in the AI Academy?
Students can begin the coursework as early as 8th grade and will work to complete it during high school.

Do students need to be full-time LCVS students?
No. Students may enroll with LCVS as a part time student to take these courses.
However, any part time students who register to take these courses are agreeing to come in for any in person certification tests associated with their registered course(s).

Does my child need to be a resident of Leon County?
No, students must be a resident of Florida to enroll with Leon County Virtual School.

Is there an application process?
Yes, we are a school of choice, and you must apply and be accepted to attend. Click HERE for more information on becoming a student.

Can full-time students participate in sports at their home zone school?
Yes, students can play sports at their home zone school. You would need to reach out to the athletic director at that school for more information.

Can students participate in dual enrollment while enrolled in the AI Academy?
Yes, students will have the option to dual enroll and earn college credits while enrolled in the Academy.

Will students be required to report to LCVS for in-person days/events?
Yes, there will be some in-person days that students in the Academy will be required to report for.
