    Part 1:  Apply online through Focus (Parent Portal)

    Submit Magnet Program School Choice Application for Cobb Middle School by logging into your child's LCS FOCUS Parent Portal account. Click on "My Child" then "School Choice" and choose “Cobb Magnet” as your first choice.

    Part 2:  Complete the Student Essay

    Submit the Student Essay to Cobb Middle School via email (acreeh@leonschools.net), US Mail, or drop-off.

    Part 3: Teacher Recommendation

    Give a Teacher Recommendation Form (pdf) to your child’s current teacher to complete and submit. Forms may be submitted directly by the teacher via inter-school mail, Microsoft Form (https://forms.office.com/r/K0zf7iztqE), or email to Ms. Acree at acreeh@leonschools.net.

     

    Completed Magnet Applications are due by 5:00 pm on March 1, 2024 

    Transfer to Cobb Middle School will occur only upon acceptance into the Magnet Program and the approval of the Leon County Schools Reassignment Committee.
