Greetings!

I am Ms. K. Mims and I am the guidance counselor here at Astoria Park. I have been in the career field of education for over 20 years. I am a graduate of the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University fondly referred to as FAMU. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's degree in Counseling Education. I am the mother of three children and grandmother of two wonderful grandchildren. I truly enjoy working with students on all levels of education. I have taught two year olds, VPK to eigth graders and am glad to know that I have helped shape the future for generations to come. I am honored to call Astoria Park Elementary my career home!
