Welcome to Second grade! We are going to embark on an amazing journey together! I am super excited about getting to know you and your family! I know we are going to have a wonderful school year!

I want to tell you a little about myself.  I was born in Savannah, Georgia, and moved to Tallahassee in 1986. I graduated from Leon High School in 1994. I went to Florida State University where I graduated with my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Exceptional Student Education. I started my teaching career in Jefferson County, and will start my 19th year at Canopy Oaks this year! This is my 15th year teaching Second grade, and I absolutely love it! 

I am a huge Florida State Fan!! I have grown up watching them for many years! I am a fourth generation Nole!!!! I am also a huge dachshund lover! I have a sweet girl named Lily who I love dearly.
