When teaching English for speakers of other languages, we work to

• impact the learning of the new language towards the acquisition of both social and academic language
  
  
• to tailor the classroom instruction to meet the individual needs of each student
  
  
• to make our students and their families feel welcome, accepted and supported in all different activities and events while assimilating into the US classroom and school culture
