• Oak Ridge Elementary School Family,

    Welcome to Oak Ridge Elementary School, “Home of the Soaring Eagles” and our website. As a school community, we want our website to serve as a primary resource for our families. Here you will find information on activities that are taking place on our campus, who to contact with questions or concerns, or even how to share ideas on ways that we can work together to make our school even better.

    Oak Ridge Elementary School has a dedicated and experienced staff, an up and coming PTO and School Council, and caring and committed families. We are fully committed to providing a safe, caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement for all students.

    Please note that instructional time is extremely important for our boys and girls, and every minute counts. Our classes start at 8:15 a.m., and it is very important your child be present and on time so as not to miss any instruction. We appreciate your help in getting our students to class on time every day.

    We can’t emphasize enough how important parental involvement is for the success of a child. Throughout the year, you will have opportunities to meet with your child’s teacher, review academic achievements, and participate in events at Oak Ridge. It is our sincere desire that you take advantage of each opportunity offered as we work in partnership with you. In addition, we would ask that you consider joining our Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO sponsors several activities during the year and welcomes your input and support.
