I am so excited about the opportunity to teach third grade! Since I was a child, I aspired to be a teacher. I was born in St. Petersburg, FL and grew up in Tallahassee, FL. I graduated from Florida State University and am a huge Seminole fan. I earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education at FSU and later earned my National Board Teaching Certification in 2009, which was a special accomplishment. I've taught at Canopy Oaks for 21 years and have been teaching third grade for 20 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching FSU sports, singing, going to the beach, cookouts, dining out, and watching movies! Looking forward to a wonderful year!
