The Dewey Decimal Reading Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

The Dewey Decimal Reading Challenge is EXTENDED until the end of the 1st Nine Weeks!

The Hispanic Heritage Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th - October 15th.
The Hispanic Heritage Challenge is due by October 25th.

The Nonfiction November Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

The Nonfiction November Challenge is due by December 2nd.

The Literacy Week Reading Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

The Literacy Week Challenge is due by February 5th.

The Black History Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

The Black History Challenge is due by March 5th.

Complete One Challenge or Both:

The SSYRA Reading Challenge
is only open to 3rd - 5th grade students.

The SSYRA Jr. Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

Both Sunshine State Young Reader Award Challenges are due by April 11th.

Complete Only One Challenge:

The Picture Book Challenge
is open to students in grades K - 5.

The Junior Chapter Book Challenge
is open to students in grades 2 - 5.

The Chapter Book Challenge
is open to students in grades 3 - 5.

The Picture Book Challenge and both Chapter Book Challenges are due by May 9th.
(If an SSYRA Book matches a category in the Chapter Book Challenge, you may use it for both.)

The 50 State Challenge is ONLY open to students in Fifth Grade.

The Civics-Minded Citizens Challenge
is open to students in grades 1 - 5.

Both the 50 States Challenge and the Civics-Minded Challenge are due by May 16th.
